A vulnerability has been identified in Sylpheed and Sylpheed-Claws, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or potentially compromise an affected system. This issue is caused by a format string error in the "inc_put_error()" [src/inc.c] function when displaying POP3 error responses, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into connecting to a malicious POP3 server.
