A vulnerability has been identified in Gentoo, which could be exploited by local attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error in the default Gentoo setup process of NVIDIA drivers that creates the "/dev/nvidia*" with insecure file permissions, which could be exploited by malicious users to cause a denial of service by sending specially crafted values to a vulnerable device.
