A vulnerability has been identified in Cisco IOS, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or take complete control of an affected system. This issue is caused by an unspecified error within the Cisco Next Hop Resolution Protocol (NHRP) feature when processing specially crafted data, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a vulnerable device to restart or execute arbitrary code.
