A vulnerability has been identified in GNOME Display Manager (GDM), which could be exploited by local attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error when handling NULL values returned by calls to "g_strsplit()", which could be exploited by malicious users to crash an affected application and create a denial of service condition by sending a specially crafted request to the GDM socket.
