A vulnerability has been identified in TippingPoint IPS, which could be exploited by remote attackers to bypass security restrictions. This issue is caused by an error when processing extended unicode characters, which could be exploited by attackers to bypass detection e.g. by sending a specially crafted HTTP request containing a hex encoded alternate Unicode character as a forward slash ("/").
