A vulnerability has been identified in Linux Kernel, which could be exploited by local attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error in the USBLCD driver that does not limit memory consumption when writing to the device via the "lcd_write()" [drivers/usb/misc/usblcd.c] function, which could be exploited by malicious users to create a denial of service condition (out-of-memory) by writing an overly large amount of data to a vulnerable device.
