A vulnerability has been identified in Cisco Trust Agent (CTA), which could be exploited by malicious users to bypass security checks and manipulate certain data. This issue is caused by an error in the "user notifications" feature that displays certain messages sent from Cisco Secure Access Control Server (ACS) to CTA over the top of the login screen upon completion of initial posture validation or upon posture revalidation, which could allow an unauthorized user to access the "System Preferences" window and change passwords of all non-root user accounts, including admin accounts.
