Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Microsoft Exchange, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary scripting code, cause a denial of service, or take complete control of an affected system.
The first issue is caused by an input validation error in the Outlook Web Access (OWA) service when handling UTF encoded attachments, which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected Web site.
The second vulnerability is caused by an error in the EXCDO (Exchange Collaboration Data Objects) functionality when processing certain iCal properties provided in email messages, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause the email service to stop responding, creating a denial of service condition.
The third issue is caused by a memory corruption error when decoding malformed base64 encoded content, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted email message to a vulnerable server.
The fourth vulnerability is caused by an error in the IMAP service when processing malformed commands, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a vulnerable service to stop responding, creating a denial of service condition.
