A vulnerability has been identified in Linux Kernel, which could be exploited by malicious users to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an infinite recursion in the "nl_fib_lookup()" [net/ipv4/fib_frontend.c] function when handling replies to "NETLINK_FIB_LOOKUP" messages, which could be exploited by local attackers to panic an affected system or cause a stack overflow, creating a denial of service condition.
