A vulnerability has been identified in ProFTPD, which could be exploited by malicious users to bypass security checks. This issue is caused by an error in the way the Auth API uses authentication data provided by simultaneous modules, which could be exploited by malicious users to bypass security restrictions and potentially gain unauthorized access to certain resources.
