Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in eIQnetworks Enterprise Security Analyzer (ESA), which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or take complete control of an affected system. These issues are caused by buffer overflow errors when processing overly long arguments passed to the "DELETESEARCHFOLDER", "DELTASK", "HMGR_CHECKHOSTSCSV", "TASKUPDATEDUSER", "VERIFYUSERKEY" and "VERIFYPWD" commands (port 10616/TCP), which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected application or execute arbitrary code.
