Two vulnerabilities have been identified in Cosign, which could be exploited by remote attackers to bypass security checks and gain unauthorized access to protected resources.
The first issue is caused by an input validation error in the "CHECK" command that does not properly validate cookies supplied via HTTP POST requests, which could be exploited by remote attackers to bypass the authentication process and gain unauthorized access to a vulnerable cosign-protected service via a specially crafted request.
The second vulnerability is caused by an input validation error in the "cosign-bin/cosign.cgi" script when processing the "service" parameter, which could be exploited by authenticated attackers to impersonate arbitrary users.
