A vulnerability has been identified in Linux Kernel, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error in the "atalk_sum_skb()" function when processing an AppleTalk frame that is shorter than the length specified in the header, which could be exploited by remote attackers to crash an affected system (with the appletalk module loaded) by sending a specially crafted frame.
