A vulnerability has been identified in PHP, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary commands. This issue is caused by an integer overflow error in the GD (Graphics Library) extension when handling WBMP (Wireless Bitmap) images via the "createwbmp()" and "readwbmp()" [ext/gd/libgd/wbmp.c] functions, which could be exploited by attackers to crash or compromise a vulnerable web server via a specially crafted image.
