Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in ImageMagick, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service.
The first issue is due to an integer overflow error in the "ReadDCMImage()" [coders/dcm.c] function when handling a malformed DCM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) file, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system via a malicious image.
The second vulnerability is due to integer overflow errors in the "ReadXWDImage()" [coders/xwd.c] function when calculating the amount of memory to allocate for the "colors" or "comment" field, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system via a specially crafted XWD (X Windows Dump) file.
