Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Cisco Unified CallManager and Cisco Unified Presence Server, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service.
The first issue is due to an error in the Skinny Call Control Protocol (SCCP) service that does not properly handle malformed packets, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable system, creating a denial of service condition.
The second vulnerability is due to an error when processing a large amount of ICMP Echo requests (ping), which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable system, creating a denial of service condition.
The third issue is due to an error in the IPSec Manager service that does not properly handle malformed UDP packets sent to port 8500/UDP, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable service, creating a denial of service condition.
