A vulnerability has been identified in Asterisk, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is due to an error when processing an INVITE message with a specially crafted SDP (Session Description Protocol) field, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a vulnerable application to crash, creating a denial of service condition.
