Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in OpenOffice.org, which could be exploited by attackers to take complete control of an affected system.
The first issue is due to a stack overflow error in the StarCalc parser when processing malformed data, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands by tricking a user into opening a malicious file.
The second vulnerability is due to an input validation error when processing links containing shell meta characters, which could be exploited by attackers to inject arbitrary commands by tricking a user into opening a malicious document and clicking on a malicious link.
The third issue is due to errors in Libwpd. For additional information, see : FrSIRT/ADV-2007-0976
