A vulnerability has been identified in Apache Tomcat, which could be exploited by attackers to disclose sensitive information. This issue is due to an input validation error when processing URLs containing slash and backslash characters, which could be exploited by malicious users to conduct directory traversal attacks and gain unauthorized access to arbitrary files on an affected server.
