A vulnerability has been identified in PECL Zip Extension, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This issue is due to a buffer overflow error when processing an overly long "zip:" URI, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected application or compromise a vulnerable web server.
