Two vulnerabilities have been identified in PostgreSQL, which could be exploited by malicious users to cause a denial of service or gain knowledge of sensitive information.
The first issue is due to an unspecified error when changing the data type of a table column, which could be exploited by authenticated attackers to cause a vulnerable application to crash and disclose arbitrary database contents.
The second vulnerability is due to an unspecified error within certain SQL functions, which could be exploited by authenticated attackers to cause a vulnerable application to crash and disclose arbitrary database contents.
