Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Apple Mac OS X, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. These issues are due to errors in the "ufs_lookup()" and "do_hfs_truncate()" functions when handling malformed images, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable system or application by tricking a user into mounting a specially crafted image or visiting a malicious web page using Safari.
