A vulnerability has been identified in McAfee VirusScan for Linux, which could be exploited by malicious users to obtain elevated privileges. This issue is due to an error where the current working directory is included in the "DT_RPATH" environment variable rather than "ORIGIN", which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the application by tricking the dynamic loader into loading an untrusted ELF DSO.
