Two vulnerabilities have been identified in Chatroom (module for Drupal), which could be exploited by attackers to gain knowledge of sensitive information or bypass security restrictions.
The first flaw is due to a design error where session IDs of chatroom visitors are broadcasted to all participants in a room, which could be exploited by attackers to hijack a user's session using the disclosed IDs.
The second issue is due to an error where private messages are displayed in the "last messages" overview of a chatroom.
