Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Conti FTPServer, which could be exploited by attackers to disclose sensitive information or bypass security restrictions.
The first issue is due to input validation errors when processing malformed arguments passed to certain commands, which could be exploited by malicious users to gain unauthorized read access to arbitrary files and directories outside the FTP root folder.
The second issue is due to a design error where FTP passwords are stored in plain text in the "MyServerSettings.ini" file.
