A vulnerability has been identified in Apple Remote Desktop, which could be exploited by local attackers to obtain elevated privileges. This flaw is due to insecure permissions being set on the built-in packages used to install and upgrade client systems, which could be exploited by malicious users to execute arbitrary commands with "root" privileges when a vulnerable client software is installed or upgraded.
