A vulnerability has been identified in MDaemon, which could be exploited by local attackers to obtain elevated privileges. This flaw is due to insecure permissions being set on the "MDaemon" directory, which could be exploited by malicious users to replace certain files (e.g. "RASAPI32.DLL" or "MPRAPI.DLL") with a malicious library that will be executed with SYSTEM privileges.
