Gentoo has released updated packages to address multiple vulnerabilities identified in Netkit FTP Server. These flaws are due to unchecked "setuid()" and "seteuid()" calls, which could be exploited by attackers to bypass security restrictions, gain access to normally forbidden directories, and potentially obtain elevated privileges.
