A vulnerability has been identified in ICQ, which could be exploited by attackers to take complete control of an affected system. This flaw is due to an error in the ICQPhone.SipxPhoneManager ActiveX control that does not validate input passed to the "DownloadAgent()" method, which could be exploited by remote attackers to download and execute a malicious file on a vulnerable system by using a specially crafted avatar and sending a message to a user.
