A vulnerability has been identified in GNU Project Debugger (GDB), which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to buffer overflow errors in the "dwarfread.c" and "dwarf2read.c" scripts when processing malformed DWARF or DWARF2 information, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands by tricking a user into debugging a specially crafted and malicious binary or core file.
