Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Cscope, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands.
The first issue is due to a buffer overflow error when parsing malformed "cscope.lists" files or directories, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system.
The second flaw is due to a buffer overflow error when handling an overly long "reffile" argument passed to command line, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system.
