A vulnerability has been identified in Intel 2100 PRO/Wireless Network Connection drivers, which could be exploited by malicious users to obtain elevated privileges. This flaw is due to memory corruption errors in certain drivers for Windows when handling malformed requests for capabilities from higher-level protocol drivers or user-level applications, which could be exploited by local attackers to obtain kernel level privileges by injecting specially crafted frames into a vulnerable driver.
