Two vulnerabilities have been identified in Asterisk, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service.
The first flaw is due to an error when handling call requests, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a vulnerable application to stop processing new calls via a flood of requests.
The second issue is due to an error when handling spoofed packets, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a large amount of traffic to be generated from Asterisk to a PBX configured with weak passwords.
