Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Microsoft PowerPoint, which could be exploited by attackers to take complete control of an affected system or cause a denial of service. These flaws are due to memory corruption errors when opening, closing, or saving a malformed presentation, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable application or execute arbitrary commands by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted document.
