Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in AdPlug, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system. These flaws are due to buffer overflow errors in the "cff.cpp", "mtk.cpp", "dmo.cpp", "dtm.cpp", "s3m.cpp", and "u6m.cpp" scripts that fail to properly handle malformed CFF, MTK, DMO, DTM, S3M, or U6M files, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an application linked against a vulnerable library or execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted file.
