A vulnerability has been identified in Microsoft Windows, which could be exploited by attackers to persuade a user to connect to a malicious system. This flaw is due to an error when validating the identity of RPC server while utilizing mutual authentication over Secure Socket Layer (SSL), which could be exploited by attackers to persuade a user to connect to a malicious RPC server which appears to be valid.
