A vulnerability has been identified in NetBSD, which could be exploited by local attackers to disclose sensitive information. This flaw is due to an error where AMD K7/K8 CPUs only save/restore the FOP/FIP/FDP x87 registers in FXSAVE when an exception is pending, which could cause x87 instruction information to be leaked between processes.
