A vulnerability has been identified in VeriSign I-Nav ActiveX Control, which could be exploited by remote attackers to take complete control of an affected system. This flaw is due to an error in the "InstallProduct" routine that does not correctly validate Cabinet (".CAB") files, which could be exploited by remote attackers to run an arbitrary executable on a vulnerable system by tricking a user into visiting a specially crafted Web page.
