A vulnerability has been identified in 3Com TippingPoint SMS Server, which could be exploited by attackers to gain knowledge of sensitive information. This flaw is due to an error in the web management interface where certain directories are not correclty restricted, which could be exploited by attackers to disclose sensitive information (e.g. configuration settings) when a vulnerable device is being used for backup purposes.
