Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Golden FTP Server, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service.
The first flaw is due to an error when handling malformed arguments passed to the "CWD" and "APPE" commands, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable server, creating a denial of service condition.
The second vulnerability is due to a buffer overflow error when handling a specially crafted argument passed to the "NLST" command, which could be exploited by attackers to crash or compromise a vulnerable server.
