A vulnerability has been identified in Linux Kernel, which may be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. This flaw is due to an infinite loop in the connection tracking protocol helper module for SCTP (Stream Control Transmission Protocol) where the "for_each_sctp_chunk()" function does not properly handle an invalid SCTP chunk size, which could be exploited by attackers to exhaust all available memory resources, creating a denial of service condition.
