Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Fenice, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service.
The first issue is due to a buffer overflow error in the "parse_url()" [parse_url.c] function that does not properly handle an overly long RTSP URL, which could be exploited by a malicious client to compromise a vulnerable server.
The second flaw is due to a memory corruption error in the "RTSP_msg_len()" [RTSP_msg_len.c] function that does not properly handle an overly large "Content-Length" HTTP header value, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable system.
