A vulnerability has been identified in GNOME Display Manager (GDM), which could be exploited by local attackers to bypass security restrictions. This flaw is due to a race condition in the "daemon/slave.c" file that sets insecure permissions on the ".ICEauthority" file, which could be exploited by malicious users to conduct symlink attacks.
