Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Apple Mac OS X, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service.

The first issue is due to an error in the "BOMArchiveHelper" application that does not properly handle malformed ZIP archives, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable application or execute arbitrary commands via a malicious archive.

The second flaw is due to errors in the "KWQListIteratorImpl()", "drawText()" and "objc_msgSend_rtp()" functions that do not properly handle malformed HTML tags, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected application (e.g. Safari) or compromise a vulnerable system via a malicious web page.

The third vulnerability is due to an error in the "ReadBMP()" function that does not properly handle malformed BMP files, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary commands by convincing a user to visit specially crafted web page using Safari, or open a malicious image using the Preview application.

The fourth flaw is due to an error in the "CFAllocatorAllocate()" function that does not properly handle malformed GIF images, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected application (e.g. Safari) or compromise a vulnerable system via a malicious web page.

The fifth issue is due to errors in the the "_cg_TIFFSetField()" and "PredictorVSetField()" functions that do not properly handle malformed TIFF images, which could be exploited by remote attackers to crash an affected application (e.g. Safari, QuickTime, Preview, or Finder) or compromise a vulnerable system via a malicious web page.
