Two vulnerabilities have been identified in SMART Technologies SynchronEyes, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service.
The first issue is due to an error when handling overly long UDP datagrams sent to port 5496, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a vulnerable application to stop processing further packets, creating a denial of service condition.
The second flaw is due to an error when handling overly large size parameters associated with packets sent to port 5496/TCP, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a vulnerable application to crash or exhaust all available memory resources.
