A vulnerability has been identified in FreeBSD, which could be exploited by attackers to bypass security restrictions. This flaw is due to a programming error in the "fast_ipsec" implementation that does not properly update the sequence number associated with a Security Association, which could cause certain packets to unconditionally pass sequence number verification checks.
