Debian has released updated packages to address a vulnerability identified in Snmptrapfmt. This flaw is due to an error in the "log.c" script that creates temporary log files in an insecure manner, which may be exploited by local attackers to overwrite arbitrary files with the privileges of the user running the vulnerable script.
