Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in RealNetworks products, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands.
The first issue is due to an error when searching system paths using the "CreateProcess()" and "CreateProcessAsUser()" functions to determine the program to run, which could be exploited by local attackers to create an environment where a malicious program will be executed with the privileges of the user running a vulnerable player.
The second flaw is due to a buffer overflow error when processing a specially crafted SWF file, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable system.
The third flaw is due to a heap overflow error in the embedded player when handling malformed web pages, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands.
The fourth vulnerability is due to a buffer overflow error when handling malformed MBC (mimio boardcast) files, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system.
