A vulnerability has been identified in avast! Antivirus, which could be exploited by local attackers to obtain elevated privileges or execute abitrary binaries. This flaw is due to insecure permissions (Full Control) being set on certain files and directories installed by the application, which could be exploited by malicious users to delete or replace certain files with malicious executables.
