A vulnerability has been identified in cURL/libcURL, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to a buffer overflow error in the "tftp.c" script that does not properly handle a specially crafted "TFTP" URL that contains a valid hostname and an overly long path (more than 512 bytes), which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system via a malicious URL.
